Couscous salad: delicious tips on wheat semolina
The couscous is basically made of the hard part of wheat which is grounded before it becomes flour. During the process it is spread as a dough and sprayed with salt water and then rubbed. Couscous differs from bulgur only in the way it is made.
Basic couscous recipe
First, add salted water or broth with a spoonful of oil or butter into a pan. Once the water begins to boil, remove from the heat, add the couscous and let stand with a lid for about five minutes. If the couscous has become very compact, add another small spoonful of butter and shell with the help of a fork.
